Membership meetings are held every third Wednesday of the month from 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. @ Brown Shoe located at 8300 Maryland Ave, Clayton MO 63105.
To apply for membership in The Professional Organization of Women, Inc. you must:
- Submit a current resume and or a professional biography
- Complete a Membership Application. Membership applications can be obtained by contacting the Membership Committee(applying for an account online does not constitute a membership application)
- Membership Fee $75.00. $30 For Undergraduate Students *(please make check out to Professional Organization of Women, Inc or POW) and mail to: Professional Organization of Women, Inc. P.O. Box 16784 St. Louis, MO 63105-9998
Additionally, please consider the following requirements as a part of membership in the professional organization.
- Membership is based on your anniversary date. This is the date the application packet and fee payment are received by the Membership Chair.
- Attendance at New Member Orientation is obligatory for all new members (New Member Orientation will be held once per quarter.)
- POW members must serve on at least one committee.
- All members are to attend the general body meetings and committee.
- Each member is to complete community service.
- Each member is to attend at least 1 major POW event (Women of Distinction Celebration or the Professional Forum).
